Most companies in our field work with multiple production facilities in various locations to ensure that all customers will be serviced in the event of a problem. Following the same method, in 2012 we built our third mix production plant in Braila. The plant was expanded in 2016 to produce 30 tonnes per day.

2011
2011 -
In 2011, we built our own spice grinding mill. As we encountered many problems with the quality of the already ground spices, we decided to import only spices in their natural form (whole plant or leaves) and grind them ourselves. We set up a very modern grinding plant that uses liquid nitrogen to lower the temperature of the spices to -80 C before grinding. With this procedure, we retain most of the volatile oils in the ground spices.

2010 -
In 2010, we established our Russian branch in Belgorod. The beginning was very difficult because we encountered many problems in dealing with local and national authorities. One of the major problems was the special approvals we needed for each product we introduced on the Russian market.

In 2008, we started our first business in Ukraine, establishing ION MOS OOO in Kiev. Later that year, we moved our company to Kharkov to be closer to the country’s major manufacturers. The business in Ukraine showed stable growth in the first years and the country became the second largest market after Romania in 2010.

2005
2005 -
Also in 2005, we opened our branch in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. It was a natural step to take in a neighbouring country where the official language is the same as ours. It was important because we were able to access a completely new range of tastes, which helped us to develop new products for the entire former USSR market. The things we learned from this experience formed the basis for our further development.

2005 -
In 2005, we started the construction of our first factory in Dragomirești based on our own plans and production know-how. The factory started production in 2006 and has a production capacity of 40 tons per day.
